Make it stand out.Not every project has to have that corporate look. Below are samples of a bit more creative lighting work that I’ve accomplished with my kit (mostly). Brought in an Aputure lightdome 150 and 16' of menace arm to give a nice large but controlled toppy source. Besides the overhead source, I had a 300x with the spotlight attachment shooting through haze to give a morning look. Several other fixtures at play for this image as well. Bigger production than my one cart makes it look like, but having garage doors and the van only 10 feet away from those doors makes this one a much easier lift. Going for the sports look with strong back light on each side of talent and just adding some controlled fill to lift the face. Looking to give a little extra someting to this sports apparel shoot, we added a couple nanlite tubes dialed into their color of blue in the foreground for the camera to slide across. This shoot didn't include any of my personal kit. Accomplished this shot's look with an 8x8 1/2 Grid overhead, then keyed with the silver side of beadboard reflecting sun through a 4x4 frame of 250.
